Professor Tamu Chambers interviewed about her latest book

Tamu Chambers, a professor in the Education and Social Sciences Department, was recently interviewed by Benji Cole from CBS Radio about her latest book, “21st-Century Anthology: Higher Education Pride, Purpose and Passion — Understanding and Overcoming Adversity, Volume 1,” published in summer 2022.

The interview aired Sept. 30 on the People of Distinction Broadcasting Network through Apple iTunes Radio Network’s News/Talk division, including CBS Radio, Fox News, National Public Radio, C-Span and the British Broadcasting Corporation.

Quinn Booker, head publicist for Orion Press who arranged the interview, reported that the broadcasting network rated Chamber’s interview “one of the most fantastic interviews they’ve had. She is an open book, who shares positive vibes through her own experiences — not just with her students and colleagues, but to anyone she can possibly reach. She shared what inspired her to write the book and elaborated on her goals for the book.”
